Inpatient Call Center Specialist II, Hospitalist Team, Full Time, Southbank Plaza

Job Posting Summary

Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Office Specialist II for the Baptist Primary Care office located at Southbank Plaza. This position will report to work Monday through Friday.

The Hospitalist office is conveniently located close to downtown, next to the Duval County School Board building. The work schedule varies Monday - Friday, while also covering every 3rd weekend.

The Call Center Specialist for the Baptist Medical Group, will provide business services for the BMG Hospitalist Team. The physicians and APP's in this group, provide care and coverage for patients who are admitted into the one of the Baptist Hospitals.

Additional responsibilities for the Call Center Specialist II may include:

• Handling ER Admissions, Consultations and Transfer Requests

• Maintaining daily reporting log

• Telephone protocols

• Maintaining Patient List Distributions

• Handling Communication External and Internal for the Hospitalist Team

• Providing Administrative Support to Physicians and Administration
