The Innovation Business Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of program initiatives within Atlantic Healthcare Advancements (AHa!). Atlantic Health Advancements (AHa!) is a unique innovation center and idea incubator launched in November 2017 to inspire Atlantic Health System's team of over 16,000 employees and 3,700 physicians to generate ideas that will enhance care delivery, improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs. AHa! integrates four independent innovation management processes into one streamlined system:

Recording and evolving ideas Training and supplying idea generators with the tools needed to convert ideas into products Use of innovation-on-demand methodologies Education on needs and demand

As a Innovation Program Specialist, you will be reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, and your responsibilities will include engaging with innovators within Atlantic Health System and assisting with the day-to-day operations of Aha!. You will work closely with the physicians, nurses, and other employees within Atlantic Health System to develop and grow their innovative ideas. The Coordinator initiates and participates in regular staff and management team meetings and works to build a culture of collaboration and accountability amongst team members and between company associates, client associates. You will analyze and support departmental budget, be responsible for financial reporting and process and record all spending. The ideal candidate will promote themselves as an Innovation Ambassador and promote a positive attitude that cultivates growth, implements new ways of thinking and is consistently looking for better solutions. This candidate should feel comfortable wearing many hats as responsibilities can include customer development, marketing product management, business development, research, financial modeling or written communications. Example projects include: Build product launch road-map for new web product, lead customer discovery interviews to better understand customers' needs, write marketing collateral and new website content, develop and research investor target list, create project management work-flow system.


  • Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to both prioritize and handle multiple priorities at once

  • Have experience with quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, health systems strengthening, innovation and training

  • A motivated self-starter/entrepreneur that can work in a complex, data-driven environment

  • Passionate about business/business building/investing, with natural business instincts and judgment

  • An analytical problem solver with an extremely high level of customer focus and a passion for process improvement

  • Team-oriented AND ecosystem-oriented approach

  • Pride yourself on your exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Positive, can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, with the agility to meet the growing needs of our team


  • BA in business, finance, sales, marketing/communications, operations, and/or minimum 1-2 years relevant experience (customer discovery, marketing communications, product management, financial modeling, lead generation, project/program management, etc.)

The Business Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Finance Organization drives innovation, enables self-service and delivers value for our shareholders and business partners through common analytics platforms and tools that create next generation capabilities. You will be working on process improvement projects, communication and project management initiatives for all of the CoE teams, and drive change among these teams. Some of the job responsibilities include: * Rolling out key processes and dashboards for strategic initiatives across the Business Analytics (BA) CoE. * Serving as a primary point of contact to lead the design, implementation and roll out of automated data insights to support the CoE's Digital Transformation initiatives. * Collaborating with different teams both within and outside the CoE on various initiatives to optimize existing processes and tools. * Collecting information, analyzing and presenting insights for executive level consumption. * Project managing multiple initiatives from conception to implementation. * Collecting, analyzing and tracking financials (budgets / actuals) for the leadership team * Status reporting of critical projects to leadership * Conducting user group sessions, training sessions, community forums and employee engagement initiatives for the CoE. You'll need to have: * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. * Four or more years of relevant work experience. * Experience with Desktop Management Tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SQL. * Experience managing multiple projects. * Experience analyzing and presenting data. Even better if you have: * A degree in IT, Finance, Business or a related field * An MBA. * A PMP or similar certification. * Knowledge of some visualization tools. * Experience working on and delivering multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment against strict deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
