Zurich North America is looking for an Innovation Manager to join our Innovation Team at our Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The Innovation team takes a holistic and customer centric approach to address short and long-term business opportunities, develops solutions, identifies and collaborates with subject matter experts from all areas of the company to execute on those solutions.
In this highly visible role you leverage your ability to think strategically to lead projects from inception through completion. You will work across the organization to solve critical business problems that will have a direct impact on Zurich North America's long-term strategies. In this position you will play a key role in:
Driving ZNA's strategic and operational priority on Innovation by taking a holistic and customer-centric approach to address short and long-term business opportunities
Strategizing and directing the innovation efforts for Zurich North America by analyzing the external environment and emerging trends to ensure that Zurich sustains market leading position in short, mid and long term
Researching, designing and developing customer-centric products, services, distribution channels and digital enablers
Fostering and strengthening industry partnerships for Zurich to identify and shape new value propositions
Leading problem-solving sessions and design sprints with customers, brokers, vendors, and employees
Representing Zurich in external innovation platforms (e.g., Insurtech)

Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims or Consulting or Risk Engineering or Underwriting
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Claims or Consulting or Risk Engineering or Underwriting area within the Insurance industry
Experience in Organizational Effectiveness or Change Management
Experience in the application of existing and/or change management methodologies and tools
Project management experience
MBA, with 4 or more years in management consulting/corporate strategy/internal consulting or innovation
Demonstrated ability to create a 'win/win' solutions through leadership, influence, facilitation and teamwork
Experience providing methodologies and tools to drive initiatives to intended results, institutionalize the process and develop a culture that embraces change
Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to partner cross functionally within the organization
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Office experience
Financial modeling and valuation of strategic opportunities
