As the Client Engagement Executive for the Innovation Institute's Innovation Lab ("the Lab"), you will be part of a team that is breaking ground with a unique company and business model. The Client Engagement Executive will serve as the onsite ambassador for the Innovation Lab to establish a presence and act as the relationship lead for Valley Children's Health, regularly interfacing with key opinion leaders, administration, physicians and general staff to source commercialization opportunities and accelerate commercialization of new products and business ventures.

The Client Engagement Executive reports to the SVP Engagement & Growth, and is supported by national teams of professionals in the areas of Clinical & Market Intelligence, Product Development, Intellectual Property and Commercialization to bring innovative medical products from concept to market. The Client Engagement Executive is responsible for building and growing relationships with system executives and innovators and integrating into the fabric of the VCH community and building a a culture of innovation and collaboration. The Client Engagement Executive will effectively navigate organizational structures, identify and guide potential commercialization opportunities, and demonstrate the unique value the Innovation Institute partnership provides to the VCH. The work is both stimulating and purposeful, as you help achieve the company mission to "transform healthcare by doing more, with less, for more people."

Key Elements of the Position

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of The Innovation Lab, you are responsible for leading innovation at the Valley Children's Health to build an engagement and outreach program that identifies unmet needs and commercialization opportunities.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as principal catalyst at VCH for Innovation Lab's mission to create, support and sustain a culture of innovation and to transform healthcare through collaboration.

• Cultivate and nurture productive relationships with executives and key stakeholders at VCH.

• Review and screen submissions from VCH for appropriate scope and opportunity based on market and clinical need.

• Lead efforts to engage clinical faculty at VCH in structured brainstorming efforts to generate viable product concept disclosures.

• Mentor innovators to help develop high quality submissions through education, individual coaching, facilitated sessions and other strategies.

• Work with Clinical & Market Intelligence, Product Development and IP & Market Strategy to facilitate a transparent innovation and technology assessment process.

• Collaborate with fellow team members and integrate with other teams to exceed customer expectations and company goals.

• Plan and execute innovation challenges, facilitated innovation events and workshops within health system and collaborate on multisystem initiatives/events.

• Regularly track and report on innovation pipeline for respective health system

• Lead other projects as assigned by SVP, Engagement & Growth

• Ability to identify commercialization opportunities and unmet needs, including programs and assets developed within Valley Children's Health

• Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to learn and implement new concepts and tools

Background Required

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years working in healthcare, biotech or innovation
