Injection Molding Mechanic

Volt is immediately hiring for Injection Molding Mechanic in the Santa Clarita Valley!

As an Injection Molding Mechanic you will:

• Performs repairs in accordance with Safety Rules and OSHA requirements.

• Performs preventative maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including but not limited to hydraulic power packs, compressors, motors, fans, pumps, forklifts, front-end loaders, and building equipment.

• Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises plant maintenance manager if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within the standard repair times (SRTs).

• Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality.

• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Facilities maintenance tasks as assigned (i.e. cleaning up oil spills, snaking clogged drains, oil changes on machines and forklifts, etc.)

?This is a 1st Shift Role - Pay Ranges from $25-30/hr

Skills Needed for this Role:

• Previous experience working at an Injection Molding facility.

• Has used or is familiar with Lockout Tagout procedures.

• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge a plus.

• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Knowledge of safety rules in typical warehouse/manufacturing/production areas.

• Must be able to stand most of the 8-hour workday.

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

• Ability to perform under limited supervision.

• Actively engages in a team-based environment.

• Self-starter who can keep to required to do list.

• Requires a flexible work schedule which may include weekends to support the operating schedule and the needs of the facility.

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
