Work Hours: Full-time, M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $2,650 per month

Job Location: Laramie, WY

The In-House Auto Claims Representative Investigates, analyzes and determines the extent of auto claim liability and works to settle claims. Communicates with insureds, claimants and other relevant parties to collect information. Evaluates damages and approves payment of claims within claims settlement authority.

Essential Functions:

  • Investigate and assess claims to create and review estimates.

  • Investigate and analyze claim information to determine extent of liability, and determine insurance coverage.

  • Evaluate, negotiate and determine settlement values.

  • Assist with the handling of claims during catastrophic events..


  • College degree preferred but will consider past work experience and other education.

  • Must be able to pass the Wyoming adjuster's licensing exam and meet continuing education requirements to maintain the adjuster's license.


  • General experience with sales, repairs, or services for automobiles, powersports or trailers.


  • Background and work experience in auto, powersport, and trailer repair, sales or valuation related fields.

  • Certifications in mechanical and auto body repair (I-Car, ASE, etc).

  • Basic investigation, evaluation and negotiation skills.

Successful applicant must pass a drug a and alcohol screening and undergo a background check.
