Ingram Micro Forklift Operator
Responsible for loading, unloading, put-away and stocking product received from plants and vendors into locations using the Reach truck, Dockstocker, Sitdown or Cherry Picker. Match SKU by cycle counting and consolidate product into existing location. Retrieve empty pallets from pallet return location and place in pallet sorting area while emphasizing focus on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping to meet the daily goals and objectives.
Must have experience operating: Reach Truck, Dockstocker, Sitdown & Cherry Picker
2nd Shift 3pm-until finish
Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality
Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of
product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer
Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck,
or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, putaway, and load
functions, as required. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly
fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security
are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
RF scanner experience
Not afraid of heights - ability to work at all module levels
Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to operate motorized equipment (Forklift)
Ability to read and interpret documents and count inventory accurately
Required to stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time throughout shift
Detailed and team oriented
Flexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime
