Infusion R.N.

Summary: This position will involve working in the#Cancer Center Oncology/Hematology infusion room.# This individual#will be responsible for administering infusions and injections,#documenting relevant patient information, triaging patient phone calls, and other duties that are specific to this position will be assigned.#This candidate will provide ongoing patient education regarding their disease process and#current treatment plan.#Will work collaboratively with the oncologists, pharmacist, primary care physician, co-workers#and other ancillary departments#to provide safe, holistic, compassionate, and quality#patient care.

This position will require five#days per week during training period and once trained will transition to four 10 hour shifts. Requirements: Minimum of one year oncology experience desired Outpatient experience helpful Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Missouri RN license in good standing BLS certified ACLS certified Computer, Meditech, # EMR proficient Must obtain ONS chemotherapy certification within six months of hire
