Job Description

Join our collaborative team as an Infusion Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care with infectious disease physicians, pharmacists, and various support personnel. This position focuses on servicing patients discharged on intravenous antibiotics as part of the Infectious Disease Transition Service. You will work closely with infectious disease pharmacists and physicians, and liaise with staff from home infusion companies, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients discharged on intravenous antimicrobials.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

You will be part of a small central pharmacy team, utilizing advanced technology including robots for dispensary and delivery tasks. The full-time rotating shift includes shifts from 7am-3:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, 11:30am-8pm, and 2:30pm-11pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, the schedule includes working one weekend every fifth week, one summer and one winter holiday, and a rotation through the MLK day holiday and Juneteenth holiday, with weekend and holiday hours from 8:30am-5pm.
