The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Infrastructure Tools Developer/Analyst you will contribute in the designing, developing, and implementing of tools and processes to support 3M Infrastructure; implementing integrations for gathering, populating, and maintaining source CMDB data; and help administer the Tools team's AWS based environments. As an Infrastructure Tools Developer/Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Contributing to the designing, developing, and implementing of Infrastructure Tools and automated processes

  • Implementing integrations for gathering, populating, and maintaining data used by other 3M Infrastructure teams.

  • Provide administration and support for Micro Focus Service Manager.

  • Supporting the 3M Infrastructure Tools team AWS based environments.

  • Being part of a Scrum Team

  • Ability to be available for on-call rotations

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years of IT Technical Experience in a private, public, government or military environment

  • One (1) year of experience with scripting or programming in PowerShell, SQL, or ASP.Net

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Technical experience and/or administration of Databases or Database Platforms (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

  • Technical experience and/or administration of Windows

  • One (1) year using/supporting/developing with AWS cloud technologies

  • Three (3) years technical experience supporting infrastructure

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Maplewood, MN and will consider remote U.S. work location

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
