NTT DATA Services currently seeks a IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Remote - up to 50% travel may be required) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager. This is a remote position (up to 50% travel may be required).

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Defines project or program, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for assigned projects and programs.

  • Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital, etc.) to complete the program objectives on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Drives project decisions to support NTT DATA's and/or the customer's strategic direction and business objectives.

  • Defines changes that affect scope, schedule and resources are identified, managed and controlled with an integrated and cohesive plan.

  • Ensures scope is defined, approved, managed, controlled; ensuring completed deliverables are accepted by the customer.

  • Ensures schedule is developed and managed to on-time delivery.

  • Ensures costs are estimated and managed to deliver project within customer approved budget, while preserving profit margins.

  • Ensures resources are assigned and managed effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensures risks and issues are proactively identified and managed.

Skills

  • Strong capability in the nine PMI PMBOK knowledge areas to the extent necessary to effectively manage or support projects.

  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company's project management information system (PMIS).

  • Strong ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.

  • Strong ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance.

  • Strong capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and Dell NTT Data in order to monitor the progress of the project.

  • Strong understanding of the links and dependencies between the projects and other in-flight projects and/or business initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience as a IT Project Manager in an infrastructure environment (Data Center, Networking, etc.)
  • PMP Certified
