The DDI Infrastructure Product Owner will liaison closely with Infrastructure Engineers, Product Development teams, Product Managers, and other business stakeholders to coordinate, prioritize, and communicate on-going status to deliver on business needs. The Product Owner should have strong leadership skills, be passionate about technology and have a strong user focus.
He / She defines, tracks, and maintains roadmaps and requirements with a solid understanding of the business, users, and the technical aspects of infrastructure technology. Must have a thorough understanding of dependencies of projects to prioritize work daily against the interrupt-driven nature of escalated support requests, helping the team shift and focus on priorities appropriately.
He / She is responsible for understanding key stakeholder requirements and partnering with the team to successfully translate requirements into comprehensive solutions, and for creating plans that will help the team to execute quality project work. He / She will need to have a "big-picture" perspective of the business, ensuring end-user experience is considered to drive successful technology adoption.
Manage PMO team, providing guidance for their duties and day-to-day coaching towards developing and achieving their goals
Own, prioritize and communicate the short-, medium- and long-term project plans of the team
Leads implementation coordination by conveying vision and priorities to the team during planning meetings.
Outlines, refines and clarifies work in the backlog to maintain a steady flow of available work for teams to consume.
Maintains Kanban board, ensuring alignment with backlog, and running daily stand-ups to provide transparency to management and accountability for team members.
Partners with other teams to coordinate, prioritize, and communicate the on-going status of each other's projects, facilitating partnerships and promoting communication between teams as they require resources from one another.
Works directly with team members to identify and resolve project barriers or conflicting priorities.
Works with key stakeholders to understand the business needs and goals, acting as an advisor to planning decisions.
Remains available to the team to answer questions and deliver direction regarding acceptance criteria, customer needs, and work priorities.
Track progress, understand dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project partners.
Ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be highly effective.
Regularly collaborate with the team to detail requirements and specify acceptance criteria for the definition of done.
Partner with team leaders to identify areas of improvement or address team performance issues.
Project Management of large-scale projects when necessary.

2-3 years of Infrastructure, Systems Engineering or Network Engineering experience preferred.
