Infrastructure Network Manager

Job Summary

As the Infrastructure Network Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our organization's IT infrastructure and network operations. The Infrastructure Network Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems, aligning them with business goals and technology trends to support our evolving business needs. In this leadership role, the Infrastructure Network Manager will manage a team of IT professionals, collaborate with various departments, and make strategic decisions to optimize performance, security, and scalability.

Essential Job Functions

• Infrastructure & Network Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the organization's infrastructure and network in alignment with overall business objectives.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators and system administrators, to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Infrastructure Architecture: Design, plan, and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions, including network, compute, and storage services.

• Security and Compliance: Ensure the integrity and security of internal and external network components, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure and network services budget, forecasting and allocating resources effectively to support projects and operational needs.

• Vendor Management: Develop and foster relationships with technology vendors, ensuring the selection and management of third-party services that meet the organization's needs.

• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize system downtime and data loss.

• Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and reporting systems to proactively identify and address infrastructure and network issues to maintain optimal performance.

• Project Management: Lead infrastructure-related projects, coordinating efforts with various teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to make informed recommendations for infrastructure improvement and innovation.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management.

• Proven experience in managing and leading a team of IT professionals.

• Experience with network management and infrastructure tools and practices.

• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

• Experience leading Infrastructure teams through M&A activities.

• Experience supporting manufacturing and distribution center technology stacks and the associated Infrastructure services.

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.

• Private and Public Cloud Hybrid Datacenter architecture

• SDWAN & SASE integration architecture

• Familiarity with Cisco, VMWare, Pure, Velocloud, Cohesity and other Enterprise hardware and software solutions.

• Expertise in Microsoft licensing lifecycle management.

• Expertise in Vendor Management.

• Expertise is driving operational efficiencies through process adoption and approvement.

• Expertise analyzing OpEx and CapEx expenses and how they impact strategies and budget.

• Desire for continual Operational Excellence through documentation and flawless execution.

• Expertise in security practices and compliance standards.

• Project management skills and experience in handling complex technology projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
