As an Infrastructure Engineer you will enter a high-tech and exciting world focused on supporting nearly all facets of an IT infrastructure. As part of this team, you will work across our entire platform which includes data centers, network administration, network engineering, wireless and telecom services, as well as the analysis, design, deployment, and operations of software, hardware, network, data center, and security systems supporting the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Participates in all aspects of the infrastructure operations, network communication (LAN, WAN, email, etc.), data center, store hardware and software, and backup/recovery

  • Participates in strategic technology initiatives to build and maintain key elements of the company's enterprise infrastructure, including but not limited to 24x7 data center infrastructure management and strategy, active directory integration, software-defined internetworking, and innovative end user computing solutions

  • Implements and manages tactical and packaged applications such as Microsoft Windows/Active Directory, various UNIX and Linux systems, wired and wireless networking, VOIP, mobile devices and management and other common-off-the-shelf systems as required

  • Design, manages and maintains tools to automate operational processes

  • Install, configures and maintains server and network hardware

  • Install, configures and administers network and system hardware and software in accordance with accepted industry best practices security standards

  • Keep manager and project leads informed about project progress and issues

  • Stay current with new technology and information security developments and technique

What you need to join:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field required

  • Eight or more years of experience in Information Technology

  • Five or more years of experience in Infrastructure

  • Experience supporting data center operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing and production operations support

  • Proven experience with VMware (performance monitoring and management, problem remediation for ESXi servers, vCenter, related VMware technologies, and Hyperconverged technology (SimpliVity)

  • Experience working in a 24/7 on-call environment and the flexibility to work additional and/or late hours based on business needs

  • Thorough understanding of WAN/LAN troubleshooting and support using Cisco-based switching, routing, and wireless technologies

  • Cisco networking (CCENT, CCNA, etc.) highly desirable

  • SCCM and Active Director Experience

  • SAN, NetApp, Pure Storage administration

  • Windows and Linux server administration

  • Exchange administration

  • SQL administration

  • Firewall administration (Palo Alto preferred)

  • VBScript/PowerShell and batch scripting

  • Microsoft Office, Office365, Azure AD, and SharePoint Online

  • VMWare administration

  • Cisco Networking

  • Enterprise social network design and implementation

  • IT audit experience

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services

  • Data center implementation and management

  • Identity Management experience a plus

The CTI Project and Program Management team (PPM) provides services across Citi Technology Infrastructure to ensure business technology projects are executed successfully, meet business requirements, and are delivered on-time and on-budget. The successful candidate could be responsible for delivering projects in one or more of the following areas: risk and control, change management, end-user product rollouts, infrastructure implementations, office location strategies and various cloud migrations. The role is governed by global project management, following CTI's internal project management methodology and has standard tools and processes to follow with support and oversight provided by the Project Office and helpdesk functions. Specific Role Responsibilities: * Develop end-to-end delivery plans and align specific tasks/deliverables from various technology engineering and integration teams to enable successful delivery of infrastructure projects. * Work closely with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure and application delivery plans meet business requirements. * Lead daily operation of projects through planning, partnership with multiple work streams for delivery, and engaged communication with shareholders. * Ensure that projects are aligned with the project structure as per guidelines issued by the central team, implementing process improvements when possible to maximize client satisfaction, efficiency, and financial saves. * Negotiate resource funding and priorities, while maintaining and tracking project financials against budget. * Seeks ways to improve existing processes, making adjustments or recommending re-engineering improvements. * Highlight and communicate risks, anticipate change requirements, and advance issues in a timely manner to help mitigate negative outcomes through prevention and detection. * Provide regular updates to all concerned partners with regards to project health, financial tracking, action items, and support requirements. * Facilitate discussions with partners to clarify and confirm infrastructure requirements and project/program scope, timeline, availability of funding, and business drivers. * Provide meaningful weekly status reporting and produce data for input into monthly operating reports and steering committee decks as required. * Develop program/project plans and schedules integrated with CTI work stream delivery timelines and resource availability. * Act as a liaison between various CTI businesses and champion the dynamic relationship between the CTI reporting groups and other key individuals to cultivate partnerships and collaboration to drive extraordinary results. * Identify and monitor key indicators to gauge performance, identify trends, and make decisions considering the bottom line. * Facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace and focus on the long-term good of the change. * Identify key partners and their influence and implement techniques for communicating/engaging and managing expectations, while seeking input and checking understanding.
