Position: Infrastructure Engineer - Exchange/O365
Job Ref #: 14406A

Duration: 24+ Months (On-Going Contract)

Location: Marysville, OH 43040 (on-site only)

Rate: Open, depends on exp level (W2/H1 Transfer)

System Administrator/Lead (Exchange/O365) will be part of the migrating from Lotus Notes to Office 365 and Outlook. They will provide administration for their Exchange or the Outlook portion of this environment.

They would resolve any customer email outage issues related to an Office 365, routing issues from Lotus Notes to Exchange and doing the final troubleshooting for their migration. They would work closing with Microsoft and other counterparts, networks, DNS, AD to resolve any related mail type issue. This is not a help desk role, this is senior role, someone who can mentor others and do the highest level of troubleshooting.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Provide support for North America, including Sales, Development, R&D and Engineering organizations for Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Act as the regional admin for all of North America
Define common processes for meeting rooms and strategy planning
Support "how to question" for Outlook and taking Outlook and Exchange to the next level
Solve any high technical questions regarding migrations and performance issues
Ideally have experience with cloud exchange environments is desired
Support Exchange (O365) and Outlook issues that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk.
Management of Resource Objects in AD and O365 for use in the email system.
Development of FAQ and Standard Operating procedures that will be used by Deskside, Helpdesk and other downstream support teams.
Assist Lotus Notes to Exchange Migration teams resolving any O365 or Outlook issues impacting migrations.
Coordinate globally impacting issues with regional resources.
Backup Skype for Business Admin when they are unavailable.
Identify upcoming changes to the O365 environment an develop plan to address them within the NA region.
Develop Automation routines with PowerShell for to address common functions.

Daily Tasks Performed:

Resolve escalated Incident Tickets.
Coordination with other technical resources to resolve customer problems
Update Resolution Status in Service Now
Mentor newer exchange administrators.
Develop Automation Strategy and Prioritize Automation plans with leadership.
Support New resource creation until delegation strategy can be developed.
Work with leadership to develop road mapping strategy for new Office 365 features.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience)
5+ years of experience as a Infrastructure Engineer, supporting large environments
3+ years experience supporting large Exchange (O365) and Outlook environments. (over 5000 seats)
Experience troubleshooting O365 email routing issues
Past experience developing or enhancing exchange automation scripts to simplify and delegate repetitive tasks to lower level technicians.
Exchange Administration (O365 preferred).
PowerShell Scripting.
Active Directory Management (GPO).
Outlook 2013 or 2016 experience (2016 preferred).
ActiveSync to IOS devices.
Exchange Online Protection.
Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role
Must have EXCELLENT oral communication skills

Education: Bachelors Degree

Other Must Have's:
Must be able to work as a W2 hourly consultant (H1 Transfer's available)
Must reside LOCALLY (S. California area)
MUST be available for a face to face interview

Desired Skills, not required:

Rights Management experience.
Leveraged or supported Quest/Dell Coexistence Manager for Notes.
Leveraged or supported Quest/Dell Migrator for Notes to Exchange.
Background using and supporting Skype for Business or MS Lync.
Ability to troubleshoot Proxy or network routing issues impacting.
Outlook or Skype connectivity to O365.
