Atrilogy's Direct client is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer ( Windows Build Engineer) in Los Angeles, CA.

Infrastructure Engineer Level III

Contract

Responsibilities
Document and maintain engineering processes and procedures and work within cross functional to continuously improve the processes.
Lead the most reliable and resilient complex infrastructure building effort.
Develop cost effective solutions leveraging private cloud, public cloud and hybrid cloud.
Reverse engineer and document existing infrastructure systems as well as create new improved infrastructure design.
Create, optimize and maintain Infrastructure as Code using languages such as PowerShell, Bash/SH shell, Ruby, Python and YAMAL as well as using Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef or similar platforms.
Maintain the infrastructure code in source control systems TFS/Git/GitHub and advocate best practices across the organization.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure Intelligence such as multi-layer firewalls and tools like Splunk and Qualys etc.
Stay abreast with emerging technologies and trends as applicable to the City National Bank infrastructure environment
Perform gap analysis of existing environment to determine opportunities for new or improved technology or process solutions
Partner with Infrastructure Architects to improve system architecture that improve system performance, reliability and security.
Review proposed designs and ensure proposed designs meet infrastructure best practices, standards and InfoSec governance policies
Skills and Knowledge
Broad and deep experience with Windows, Linux (CentOS, SlackWare, Gentoo, Ubuntu, etc).
Experienced in Active Directory and Group Policies & GPO
Experienced in Docker/Docker Hub and Kubernetes (pods, services etc)
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, NTP, layer 2/3 switching, VLAN, VXLAN, inter-VLAN routing, LACP, Etherchannel and other advance concepts
Working knowledge of SSH, Kerberos, Radius, SAML, BIND DNS (nsupdate, dnssec, stubs, delegation) and others.
Experienced in load-balancing (local/global), F5 and Netscalers as well as Cisco networking products
Experienced in SAN/NAS storage administration and good understanding of object storage, block storage, file storage and other modern storage technologies (i.e. 3PAR, Nimble)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education - Masters degree in a relevant field
Minimum 6 years working in an Infrastructure Systems Engineering role
Minimum 5 years working in an enterprise level environment designing, building server, storage & network solutions in virtualized environment
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing cloud model delivery
Knowledge of ITIL (certification is plus),
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (preferred), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer (certification is plus)
