External Description:

Equifax is looking for an Infrastructure (DB & System Software) Team Lead. This individual will develop functional specifications that satisfy client requirements.

The Infrastructure Team Lead will lead team members, clients, and other stakeholders in reviewing and refining requirements for Equifax Workforce Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop functional specifications that satisfy client requirements (large scale).

  • Lead team members, clients, and other stakeholders in reviewing and refining requirements. Capture and refine requirements across multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Act as the liaison with the DBA concerning requests for additional disk space and monitoring space usage.

  • Actively address issues; setting priorities when appropriate.

  • Lead production deployment planning.

  • Perform system validation.

  • Assist clients with ongoing support for applications.

  • Participate in system incident calls as necessary to help troubleshoot issues in relation to the database.

  • Assist with problem analysis, propose resolution and provide time estimates for implementing the solution.

  • Identify risks and proactively minimize the impact

  • Ensure security policies and practices are adhered to

  • Guide and mentor junior business analysts.

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentoring for team members

  • Actively coordinate and maintain the interaction between the UC Technology teams and other groups in the organization.

  • Identify in and out of scope needs. Address out of scope items appropriately

  • Plan, organize, prioritize, lead and coordinate tasks/projects in and across UC teams.

  • Develop detailed project plans

  • Work with team members to develop accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines

  • Preparing status updates and reports

  • May direct, plan, and monitor work for others to meet project deadline

  • May conduct project team meetings and other project related events (requirements reviews, specification reviews, etc.)

  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, courtesy, respect, and professionalism while interacting with clients both internal and external if applicable, project team members, employees, support teams, and business contacts

Experience:

  • 2-3 experience as team lead leading 10-12 technology team consisting developers, business analysts etc.

  • 5-8 years of IT Business Analyst experience with significant technical expertise

  • 5-8 Year experience of Informix Database

  • 2-3 year experience with Informix performance monitoring, identifying slow running queries and assisting the development team to optimize queries.

  • Must have an excellent understanding of the entire system development life cycle - including Kanban & Agile methodologies

  • Personify a "does what it takes" focus, know when to act with a sense of urgency, and drive initiatives

  • Encourage team work

  • Accommodate demands, setting priorities when appropriate and escalate issues

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent people and leadership skills

  • Works independently and has built good relationships with business units and other development or support areas

  • Successfully managed multiple major projects simultaneously

  • Coordinate and/or conduct testing efforts

  • Excellent analytical, research and analysis, project planning and implementation skills

  • Understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance

  • Experience in coordinating and carrying out requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with TFS or similar repository

  • Experience working with offshore teams

The candidate will lead MPS implementation working closely with site leads, regional leadership and Production COE, Change Management team and HR team. Key Responsibilities: * Technical (Production) * Develop robust understanding of MPS implementation methodology, lean content and change management approach to successfully lead MPS implementation at sites * Review opportunity hypotheses, findings and analyses of site implementation teams during MPS Implementation * Guide teams to size the value improvements and prioritize implementation * Coach / guide the team to ensure the recommendations and actions improve value for the site and Monsanto (in alignment with Strive for Five goals and AM2020 targets) and can be implemented sustainably * Coordinate across Production COE MPS Leads and Regional MPS implementation leads for standard implementation of MPS across sites and regions * Lead best practices sharing across sites during implementation * Update the MPS playbook after site implementation in collaboration with Production CoE and other MPS Implementation Leads * Act as an SME after the initial MPS implementation and facilitate the continuous improvement journey * Project Leadership during MPS Implementation Wave: * Co-Lead / Lead MPS implementation at selected sites in coordination with regional and local site staff * Lead project management office at the sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g. site leadership, regional leadership, Production COE, external resources in initial waves) * Review project progress and challenge teams to develop action plans to close gaps to plan e.g. timelines, practice maturity progression, financial targets, adoption and sustainability of improvements * Ensure people changes are on track to support sustainable changes including an emphasis on change management and the implementation of competency frameworks and role descriptions * Lead and facilitate milestone reviews and workshops during MPS implementation * Coordinate with stakeholders at site, regional leaderships, and production COE to remove roadblocks to successful site implementation * Maintain regular touch points with site and regional leadership, and the COE * Measure and report benefits (operational and financial results) from site implementation * Develop Executive Summary of project progress and benefits delivered * Coordinate across AM2020 initiatives e.g. MES and ASP/AI * Managing Change * Ensure change management requirements are being addressed and coordinate change efforts to implement and sustain improvement * Ensure adequate and timely communication at sites * Ensure adequate training of site personnel during implementation.
