Infrastructure Architect

• Design and technical domain leadership for Infrastructures, including servers, storage, workstations, middleware, Networks, physical facilities and physical layouts that support the applications and business processes required by Customer. · In coordination with Customer, maintains other Customer IT Environment Providers and/or Service Provider product standards and standard reusable solutions. · Creates technical design documents. · Design and technical domain leadership for Infrastructures, including servers, storage, workstations, middleware, Networks, physical facilities and physical layouts that support the applications and business processes required by Customer. · In coordination with Customer, maintains other Customer IT Environment Providers and/or Service Provider product standards and standard reusable solutions. · Creates technical design documents.

• Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure architecture, with the ability to clearly formulate end-to-end hosting environment technical plans in accordance with Customer's requirements · Demonstrated customer service, communications and leadership skills · Knowledge of information technology and associated methods and tools used to attain project/business unit objectives · Basic knowledge of the PMI process groups (initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing) and current Project Management methodologies · Demonstrated technical skills in the applicable technical domain for the delivery of the Services · Working knowledge of enterprise architecture principals · Working knowledge of infrastructure design · In-depth knowledge of enterprise level solutions · Experience in the evaluation and selection of Software and Equipment components of the Infrastructure · Knowledge of industry best practices in modeling, simulation and testing · Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as working knowledge of Systems consulting and Project Management · At least five years of progressive IT experience in large enterprise environments · Experience in enterprise public cloud architecture · Facilitate the understanding and shaping of the end-to-end cloud security strategy and architecture . · Enhance or articulate overarching cloud security architecture governance across IT projects, architectures and designs · Assist in the design decisions proposed by the various design authorities (e.g. project leads and / or project architects) to meet broader organizational security objectives · Review security design decisions which need to be taken through the development of a target operating model; or because of on-going change initiatives · Enforce compliance of the firm's security polices, standards, and procedures as relates to each project · Evaluate and recommend cloud security technologies and solutions · Ensure alignment of cloud security technologies used across the firm · Act as an interface to the Enterprise Architecture team · Research and stay up to date on emerging threats landscape and security controls · Explore vendor or in house products to address security gaps · Promote security awareness and educate people at all

levels of the firm Identify points of architectural risk in new projects using architectural threat risk assessment and threat modelling techniques

Experience Required 7 to 10 years
