The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Infrastructure analyst you will work to implement server and storage designs within the regions, including plants, for on-prem and edge workloads. This will include server and storage hardware, hyper converged infrastructure (HCI), hypervisors, and the x86 operating systems.

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Assisting sites with "factory of the future" infrastructure projects

  • Managing projects with excellent communications and interpersonal skills

  • Acting as a liaison between Operations Support, Technical Services, and management

  • Producing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation

  • Functioning as a technical leader and providing architectural guidance, procurement of server resources, depending on the project scope

  • Analyzing trend data in various performance tools (i.e. perfmon, SCOM, vROps, vCenter) for changes in server performance and operating characteristics

  • Enforcing infrastructure policies and standards, including license management

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Associates or Two (2) year technical degree/diploma (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Two (2) years Microsoft Windows Server or Linux experience in a private, public, military or government environment

  • Two (2) years virtualization tools (i.e. VMware) experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, BCIS, or equivalent

  • Project management experience

  • Python programing experience

  • Server and storage hardware and networking background

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Location: Woodbury, MN preferred and may consider remote U.S. work location

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

As a member of our Infrastructure group, you will provide insight and innovative construction solutions to ensure the successful execution of various infrastructure projects, such as: roadways, highways and interchanges; bridges and overpasses; water and wastewater treatment facilities; transmission lines; general/public transportation including airports, seaports and light rail transit lines (LRTs); and conventional and alternative power generation like wind farms and district energy facilities. You will also further hone your skills operating under various delivery methods including Design-Build, P3 (Public-Private Partnership), Construction Management and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). About The Role The Project Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and will have an in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure/Civil construction projects and a detailed understanding of all aspects of construction including technology, equipment, materials, bid management, claims management and safety. As a Project Manager at Graham you will: * Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests and maintain good relationships with client * Ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule * Assist, review and negotiate contracts; liaising with legal counsel, as appropriate, in conjunction with Operations Manager * Develop, recommend and implement the project plan, after being awarded the project * Coach/mentor, provide direction, and review the performance of personnel reporting directly to the Project Manager * Monitor and control progress, costs and budgets throughout the project * Complete and monitor risk register. * Act to resolve disputes between the Company and owner, or Company and subcontractors when possible prior to escalating * Identify required and optional changes in project scope; negotiate change orders with the owner To be Successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience: or Qualifications/Experience: * Engineering or Construction Management degree * Knowledge/experience within the transportation sector is required * 3+ years' experience managing Infrastructure Projects ($5-100 million) * Knowledge/experience in civil, bridges, roads and rail (LRT) is considered an asset * Alternate delivery procurement experience is considered an asset Compensation and Benefits: * Opportunity for ownership and increased income through dividends and share equity increases * 15% of annual profits are paid out in bonuses * Excellent Health & Dental benefits plan, Life insurance, AD&D.
