Overview
EHR Instructional Designer Analyst. Collaborates with the training manager, system analysts, and subject matter experts to develop, provide, and maintain Epic curriculum materials. This includes multimedia deliverables to be used with self-paced online learning, in-person and virtual instructor-led training, and other initiatives as assigned. Builds and maintains the training environment.
Responsibilities
Analysis
Leverage feedback & data to create learning modules and evaluate effectiveness. Collaborate with members of this team and stakeholders to ensure material meets desired outcomes.
Design
Design learning solutions based on analyses that include curriculum content and documentation and factor in adult learning theories.
Development
Develop & maintain course materials including instructor manuals, training guides, quick start guides, tip sheets, and eLearnings. Engage in continuous improvement of all materials.
HIPAA / Privacy Practices
Adhere to HIPAA compliance rules.
Technical Build / Support
Build, maintain, and test build in the training environment to support training delivery. Complete and maintain certification in assigned Epic application.
User Support
Provide weekly remote and in-person support to users receiving training at DH locations. Participate in off-hour on-call support rotation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience or the equivalent in education and experience required.
Knowledge of adult learning principals and training methodology required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills required.
Required Licensure/Certifications
Special certification may be required dependent upon clinical applications.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H's Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.
