General Summary

COLSA Corporation is seeking a candidate as an Information Technology (IT) Systems Analyst to provide technical, software, and engineering to the System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD) Advanced Technology Planning and Integration (ATPI) Branch in performance of its ground test/flight test support to support execution of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) GMT Test Division efforts. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience analyzing business needs and developing strategies to optimize system value. The primary roles and responsibilities are listed below:

  • Provide software and systems support, subject matter expert (SME) support, GFE procurement support, software analysis support, and program management

  • Perform special studies, tradeoff analysis, requirements analysis, and functional capability analyses to insure the most cost effective approach

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate issues to meet customer needs

  • Identify and analyze alternatives for project development decisions, project execution, and prioritization

  • Develop, review and distribute applicable requirements documentation as it relates to requirements and coordinate support requirements to meet mission need

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related or relevant experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • Ability to accurately process multiple assignments with aggressive timelines in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with DoD networks and communications transport systems

  • Experience with delivering contractual requirements

  • Experience using enterprise-level collaboration tools such as SharePoint

  • Experience with software design, training and maintenance

  • Experience with providing technical support for customers/users

  • Experience supporting executive leadership and leading teams in multiple functional areas

The primary responsibility of the Multi-Function Information Systems Analyst Staff is to perform IT support for the Lockheed Martin managed closed areas. This IT professional will ensure that the Lockheed Martin IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF). This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, Hardware and Software problems, domain accounts and password issues and service request in the support of closed area IT environments (Servers, Workstations, and Storage). The Multi-Function Information Systems Analyst Staff assists users with resolving technical issues with applications, connectivity and other IT related issues The Multi-Function Information Systems Analyst Staff will assist with Information Assurance, performing environmental vulnerability scans, remediation of vulnerabilities and system hardening. The selected candidate will ensure that all Lockheed Martin assets and software are properly accounted for, managed, and controlled. This is a non- telecommuting position including some off-shift hours, weekends and occasional travel. This position requires the selected candidate be a U.S. Citizen who was born in the United States. The position supports a 7 X 24 weekly on-call rotation.
