Who We Are

The Enterprise Technology Services Division (ETSD) of the Office of the State Court Administrator (OSCA), part of the Oregon Judicial Department (OJD), is hiring a Web & SharePoint Team Supervisor (Information Technology Supervisor). ETSD provides business solutions, system support, technology vendor management, and information security for OJD. Position Highlights

As the Web & SharePoint Team Supervisor, you will assign tasks and projects, monitor and evaluate work, provide feedback, motivation, and coaching, ensure the effective flow of team communication, and address staff complaints and issues. You will review and approve leave requests and timesheets. You will also attend supervisor meetings and trainings, and ensure that your team members receive proper training to build and support software and environments.

Representing ETSD and OJD, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, businesses, and community partners. Partnering with upper management, you will help develop short- and long-range goals, resolve technically complex problems, research and procure new tools and products, and review upcoming changes to existing supported software and environments. You will prepare and deliver clear, concise, and accurate documentation, and you will develop team standards for developing and maintaining workflows, applications, and scripts.

Additionally, you will analyze, configure, test, patch, and support OJD's webpages, SharePoint, and other workflow environments. You will also manage system services and settings configurations, content databases, site security, and upgrades. Part of your time will be spent developing web-based solutions, defining requirements for our SharePoint site layout structure and content, creating new SharePoint sites and content databases, migrating data and sites to meet customer needs, and providing training and support to content owners.

Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

(These must be evident in your resume or work history.)

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information management, business, public administration, or a related field.

AND

Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in the functional and infrastructure areas supervised, including at least two years of lead experience.

OR

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to eight (8) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

You must have a current driver's license and an acceptable driving record or be able to provide an acceptable alternate means of transportation.

Requested Skills and Attributes

  • Experience supervising staff, with demonstrated success in training, motivating, assigning and evaluating work, and coaching.

  • Experience recognizing, addressing, and managing conflict in a professional setting.

  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for measuring and analyzing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical programs and systems and suggesting improvements.

  • Experience communicating technical issues to a variety of users and user levels.

  • Experience establishing short- and long-range goals and objectives.

  • Skill presenting information clearly and logically, orally and in writing.

  • Experience developing and providing training for adult learners.

  • Experience in SharePoint (on premise and online), including administration, workflows, and design.

  • Experience in workflow automation technologies (Power Automate, Nintex, etc.).

  • Experience in web services technologies, PowerShell scripting, and HTML coding.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position, and the work schedule currently is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional work outside these times. This position is FLSA-exempt and ineligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.

  • Occasional travel, including possible overnight stays, to court locations throughout the state.

  • Hybrid work may be available for this position. All hybrid work assignments begin, end, or change only with administrative authority approval. This position requires onsite availability as needed.

  • This position plans, organizes, and prioritizes daily work demands in a limited timeframe.

  • Frequent email, phone, and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Frequent email, phone, and in-person contact with people who are confused or frustrated.

  • Lifting and moving equipment that weighs up to 40 pounds may be required.

  • The following equipment will be used on a regular basis: telephone with optional headset, desktop equipment, mobile devices, hand truck, and ladders.
