Consumers Credit Union is one of the largest, fastest growing credit unions in Illinois! We are looking for a diverse group of hard-working students to join our Summer 2019 Ignite Intern Program.

Each summer, we hire college students because we believe in fresh ideas. These are not paper pushing, copy making internships. We offer our interns real work experience with opportunities to interact with multiple departments and leaders throughout the Credit Union. We foster a team atmosphere by having our interns work together on projects, volunteer in the community, and participate in social events and educational sessions with leaders throughout the Credit Union.

Our program is based on creating a future path for students who have an interest in the financial services industry. The program is designed expose Interns to a variety of opportunities within the Credit Union while fostering growth and learning.

Ignite Intern Program Details:

  • Interns will work within their departments completing day to day work and assigned projects

  • Interns will work in small group on projects throughout the Summer to present to the Senior Management Team

  • Interns will have the opportunity to network with Senior leaders at various learning events

  • Interns will have the opportunity to grow and learn from each other

  • Interns will have the opportunity to share ideas and contribute to the overall success of Consumers Credit Union

Information Technology Intern

  • Assist with hardware maintenance such as imaging, replacing PCs and Monitors, equipment relocation, and re-cabling workstations

  • Help-Desk & Tech Support backup

What we're looking for:

  • Individuals able to commit to a 35-40-hour work week

  • Rising junior and seniors working toward Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA
