RSG seeks an Information Technology Specialist to join our innovative and employee-owned consulting firm. The position will be based in our White River Junction, Vermont Office.
As An Information Technology Specialist
You ensure that the IT Help Desk functions properly. Your work includes documenting and monitoring all system and application support calls via internal Help Desk procedures, resolving first level application and technical calls, and escalating unresolved problems to other systems staff or appropriate external support providers. You assist with desktop and laptop configuration, maintenance and repair, e-mail administration, Active Directory maintenance, software license management, and Windows server update management. As the first point of contact for all service desk submissions, you work independently, assessing the technical issues in relation to business priorities, and you collaborate with group members to deliver timely and effective solutions.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Systems Management, or related field
1-3 years of practical experience with enterprise-level IT Support
Proficiency and demonstrated experience with Windows hardware, software, and Microsoft Office 365
Experience with Mobile devices, VOIP, basic networking skills, and SQL Server administration
Outstanding communication, listening skills, customer service, patience, and relationship-building skills
Ability to exchange information and resolve problems with individuals and teams of varying sizes and technical abilities
Ability to communicate effectively in one-to-one and group settings, in-person and remotely, with peers, supervisors, and customers
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
4 or more years of practical experience with enterprise-level IT Support
Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Linux/Mac systems and applications
Collaborating with developers (DevOps)
Experience with managing projects
