Zions Bancorporation is seeking a leader for a key position with our Enterprise Technology & Operations team. We're seeking a senior leader who can ensure alignment of technology investment planning with enterprise strategic plans. You'll be a senior leader responsible for project portfolio delivery execution. As a senior leader, you will direct the work and manage Program Managers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers and Business Analysts. In addition, you'll provide leadership in ensuring enterprise technology investments support the long-term corporate strategy and meet architecture standards.

The role of Information Technology Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of critical agile initiatives and projects focused on strategic business, operational, and technology needs. Key initiatives are reducing technology debt, implementing data infrastructure and developing enabling platforms. You'll assist with the prioritization of projects through the Technology Investment Planning Process to ensure alignment with the company's overall technology strategy and enterprise architecture, provide return on investment and support the business line's objectives.
These are the responsibilities for this role:
Senior leader directing work and managing Program Managers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers and Business Analysts
Build a high performing team through strong communication, team involvement, talent development and effective leadership
Provide oversight, leadership, and manage execution of a portfolio of technology initiatives
Build and manage relationships with internal partners at the portfolio level and beyond
Communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple levels of business and technology leadership and teams
Manage project interdependencies, critical path, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
Work with stakeholders ensuring the portfolio roadmap is aligned to enterprise strategy and facilitate the utilization of OKRs and KPIs to measure results
Report on portfolio level metrics
Deliver a roadmap of initiatives focused on the reduction of technology debt
Responsible for full business line engagement, ownership, and delivery of all strategic initiatives at the project, program, and portfolio level
We're looking for these credentials:
Experience with Agile development approaches, particularly with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Experience managing teams using an Agile Framework
Strong resource, change and risk management, financial tracking and other related experience
Strong strategic planning, risk and change management skills
Vendor/Contract Management experience: Managing multiple vendors and internal resources across work streams simultaneously
Experience managing onshore/offshore resources
Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a related field and 10+ years' experience in technology management or other directly related experience.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as the ability to interact and influence all levels of an organization
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adaptive to change and able to work through ambiguity to drive consensus and determine go forward direction
