Information Technology Manager
We have an opportunity for an IT Manager in our Corpus Christi, Texas office or San Antonio, Texas office. The IT Manager will be responsible for all LNV, Inc technology, Information Technology (IT) strategic direction, oversight of vendor technology products and platforms, ensuring appropriate levels of information privacy and security oversight and controls, and management of the IT function for LNV, Inc., including a public, high traffic web site and internal website.
The IT Manager responsibilities will include management of LNV's Information Systems policies to assure the development and implementation of data processing, computer operations and related functions.
As a member of the management team, the IT Manager will participate in coordinating the strategic plan with the development of information systems. Provide on-going analysis and planning of information systems. Making decisions for changes, upgrades, and new projects to facilitate meeting the dynamic business needs.

Education / Experience
High school diploma required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.
Minimum of five years' experience in systems administration.
Minimum of three years managerial experience with supervising people.
Extensive experience in Local and Wide Area Networks.
Experience in Architecture and Engineering Firm, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Oversee internal and external day-to-day IT operations of LNV, Inc., providing overall management of technology vendor(s), developing the current IT model, and a comprehensive on-going IT project management plan.
Oversee investments in technology hardware, software, and talent to meet the goals and objectives of LNV, Inc.
Provide strategic direction and vision to direct the overall design of LNV's technology platform to ensure that LNV's current and future business goals can be met.
Ongoing, this role will oversee and ensure technology vendor deliverables, contractual requirements, performance guarantees, and implementation and testing milestones are met.
Direct technology strategy and operations, including management of computer hardware and software, telecommunications and networks.
Extensive experience with personal computers and software applications.
Ability to provide professional and effective support to remote users via phone, e-mail and remote-control software; multi-task and coordinate problem resolution management and work effectively in a high-pressure environment; go the 'extra mile' to connect and coordinate with application/software subject matter expert(s) to help remediate issue for end-user.
Ability to take initiative, plan effectively to anticipate and prevent potential user/customer problems.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills including accurate data entry skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines; solve problems requiring creativity, initiative and drive; self-motivated and enjoys a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
Must be able to lift up to 30 - 50lbs.
The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Evaluates business needs, objectives, and goals by researching available products and designating procedures to best meet those needs.
Maintains awareness of changing trends and regulations and acts as required
Develops implementation plans for new projects by coordinating process with project leader.
Provides well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
Develops an annual budget by providing justification when needed.
Reviews and compares actual results to planned budgetary performance, preparing reports reflecting those results.
Develops configuration and performance standards. Implements and monitors controls to ensure such maintenance. Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan.
Reviews periodically department procedures, staffing and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs. Makes purchasing decisions based on bid pricing provided by monitoring accurate records maintenance.
Coach and direct staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with departmental goals, objectives, and budget. Conduct Team meetings in accordance with overall strategy.
Direct the department's personnel administration activities including job assignment, training, performance evaluation, and compensation review.
Ensures technology utilization providing a fast, accurate, and secure method to access information in a highly efficient and effective manner.
Ensures service support in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Travel to other LNV offices to provide support (up to 25% of time).
