The Role:

This is an exceptionally exciting opportunity to support CAA's global infrastructure operations team. The ideal individual has 3 to 5 years of experience in on-prem and public cloud multi-role support (network, security, storage, virtualization and server platforms), experience with vmware administration and observability and telemetry software such as logicmonitor.

Essential Functions:

To be successful, we need to scale operations globally and you will have a significant amount of input on what our plan will be. This role is critical in ensuring that CAA infrastructure can support our fast-paced international growth both on-prem and utilizing public cloud resources.

All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any/all incumbents, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be other related duties as assigned. This hybrid role will require 3 days onsite in our New York or Los Angeles office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Analyze our current infrastructure processes and update and improve upon it.

• Get hands on our infrastructure automation processes. Specific things that we are interested in for the first few months are VMware-based virtualization support, Azure and AWS support and Ansible configuration.

• knowledge of Cisco Networking (configuration and ongoing support)

• Your performance will be measured based on improved deployment process/times, reduction in server alarms and more efficient operation of resources. The goal is that our global infrastructure team scales without an increase in error reports and maintaining/improving our error rate, response times, uptime.

• Proactively support 24x7x365 infrastructure operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting mission critical infrastructure with 8+ years total experience

• Service-oriented, and enjoy working with engineers to make the service delivery process painless

• You've carried a cell phone/pager, and know what to do when things go wrong (don't worry, we carry them too, and work hard to make sure they never go off!)

• Strong IaaS/PaaS background and a willingness to build a best-in-class environment

• Exceptional technical skills in this area including:

• VMware and Server Deployment Automation

• Open source automation (Ansible)

• Cisco Networking (Routing, Switching, Security) - CCNP level desired

• Storage Networking and Configuration

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY office; Hybrid

Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $137,000 - $171,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
