The Marlin Alliance Inc. is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Training Professional to support our Navy client. This individual works in partnership with headquarters administration as part of the Knowledge Management (KM) team to provide training support to the client organization, both in person and online. This individual will also be involved in improving content management and knowledge sharing processes across various Navy teams. Salary is commensurate with experience. Candidate must have an active Secret clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review current training needs and identify solutions for both in-person training and online stand-alone training.
Develop, publish, and deliver both in-person training, virtual instructor-led training, and online stand-alone training on various collaboration tools managed by the KM team.
Meet and communicate with stakeholders to determine their training requirements.
Communicate with clients to develop solutions to their content management needs using the collaboration tools.
Troubleshoot issues regarding the various collaboration tools for stakeholders.
Build survey questions, follow up with stakeholders, and export metrics from a survey portal.
Communicate with stakeholders to modify their survey questions to remove bias and generate actionable metrics.
Develop question logic and branching for survey questions.
Provide recommendations to stakeholders on how to move forward based on survey feedback.
Provide online meeting support using the DOD online meeting tool for large presentations.
Develop video tutorials and edit other teams video as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Minimum of an active DoD Secret clearance.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF).
Experience developing training and performance solutions.
Experience with e-learning software such as Adobe Captivate, Techsmith Camtasia, or Snagit.
Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop short- and long-term plans for project execution is a necessity for this position.
Flexibility and change management skills are essential for this position. The candidate will need to be able to adjust to changing requirements and communicate with individuals from various client teams on a consistent basis.
The candidate must be able to effectively prioritize tasking and communicate with stakeholders when deadlines change or are not possible.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design or related field.
Experience working with survey development and analysis.
Experience with the SurveyMonkey platform (or a similar tool).
Prior knowledge of or experience with the US Navy/Department of Defense.
Experience with change management implementation.
