MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

The Information Technology Specialist provides direct support for the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of organization-wide IT and data systems, including training and supporting users, administering THTs network, and supporting internal applications, tools, and devices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports THT staff and equipment with day-to-day training and technical operations
  • Administers Monday.com, Salesforce, G-Suite (Mail, Drives and Expert knowledge of User Configurations), THT Intranet, Zoom, RingCentral and other internal systems
  • On- and off-boards all THT staff computers and devices with managed service vendor. Installs and configures workstation and system hardware and software as needed.
  • Manages and supports THTs network, and security tools and hardware
  • Trains new and existing staff on applications and systems as needed
  • Works with IT Managed Services Provider to conduct regular THT staff training on Information System security, regular audit/analysis, privacy, and related issues
  • Provides user support for THT systems and devices utilizing in-house ticketing systems.
  • Documents activities in assigned systems
  • Supports IT managed service vendor
  • Maintains detailed inventory of assets, including hardware and software licenses
  • Prepares, submits, and distributes reports, as directed
  • Participates in the development of organizational policies and procedures as needed

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by HIE Director

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in Information Technology or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Virtual Conferencing Systems, Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture and systems
  • Ability to learn, understand and quickly apply new technologies
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize competing needs
  • Desire to work in a team-based environment with the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous project management, system or network administration strongly preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Google G-Suite and associated tools.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture and systems
  • Mac OS
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • Networked Printers and other devices
  • Network Protocols/Configurations (TCP/IP, Drive Mapping, etc..)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The specific demands for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

The incumbent performs job duties in a normal business office environment in an urban community. Office tasks are generally carried out with no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. While performing the office duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time. Specific physical abilities required by this job include operating and occasionally moving basic office equipment such as personal computers, copy machines, fax machines and standard office telephones. These tasks require occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and crawling, bending, or reaching related to computer/networking wiring.

Further, the incumbent will be occasionally responsible to work nights and weekends.

Benefits

Annual full-time exempt salary range starts at $50,000.
