PCC Rollmet is a single source USA manufacturer for precision seamless cylindrical shapes and assemblies, including standard pipe schedules and close tolerance, thin walled pipe and tubes in a wide range of materials, including standard pipe schedules and aluminum alloys, stainless steels, high-strength steels and nickel-based alloys. Backed by a global network of service and support, our PCC Rollmet seamless pipe and tube product line sets the standard for large diameter, high-nickel alloy pipe and tube requirements for the power, petrochemical, nuclear, aerospace and defense industries.

IT Co-op needed to assist in supporting the IT department. Co-op must display a strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, as well as interact closely with other departments and employees.

  • The student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations

  • The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility in operations/manufacturing throughout his/her co-op experience

  • Will identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects

  • Will perform or review systems analysis, testing and documentation for existing processes

  • Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.

  • Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage Helpdesk calls and enter in helpdesk tracking system

  • Troubleshoot Network, PC, Laptop, Servers, Custom Applications, VPN, Sharepoint. Among others

  • Perform Hardware and Operating System Level Installations.

  • Configure and troubleshoot installed applications.

  • Diagnose and correct network connectivity problems.

  • Customize and deploy PCs.

  • Troubleshoot printer issues

  • Assign/change/remove user network and application permissions (work with System and Network Admins.) in accordance with IT procedures and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

  • Assist with SQL Reports

  • Other duties as assigned

Co-Op Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college and have successfully completed their freshman year prior to co-op

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or similar

  • Must be able to commit to a 6-month minimum assignment, 25-30 hours per week

Co-op position will be flexible to work around breaks and weekly school schedule

Position Summary The VP, Information Technology (Chief Information Officer – CIO) will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing strategic initiatives in IT. The VP, IT is responsible for planning, coordinating, designing and execution of all operational activities of the IT department and the IT systems and applications in support of Skyworks' operations in order to foster innovation that creates competitive advantages, improves service quality, supports business development, improves cost effectiveness and leads to greater productivity and efficiency. The VP of IT works closely together with senior management across all departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support secure solutions enabling employee productivity and operational efficiencies, leveraging data analytics tools and systems. This position will report directly to the CFO and be located in Irvine, California. Responsibilities Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and data analytics, prioritizing IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future systems across the organization. Develop and maintain an organizational IT structure that supports the current and future global needs of Skyworks. Establish IT departmental goals, objectives and operating procedures. Directs continuous improvements of systems and procedures to maintain pace with technological progress and business needs. Identify opportunities for appropriate and cost effective investment in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, procurement and in-house development. Develop, track and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate consultation with senior level stakeholders to define technology roadmap and systems requirements. Ensure continuous delivery of IT services, through oversight of service level agreements with end users. Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations, contractual obligations and established security protocols. Direct continued implementation and further development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and continuity plan. Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale. Keep ahead of trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies. Advise, counsel and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact. Required Skills Minimum ten years of experience managing and directing an information technology function including experience in strategic planning and execution. Proven experience in a CIO or similar position. Experience managing budgets and effectively planning and managing activities within the established constraints of approved budgets. Solid understanding of data analytics tools and analysis. Proven experience in IT strategic planning, organization and development In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and security protocols as they relate to IT.
