Job Description:

PCC Rollmet is a single source USA manufacturer for precision seamless cylindrical shapes and assemblies, including standard pipe schedules and close tolerance, thin walled pipe and tubes in a wide range of materials, including standard pipe schedules and aluminum alloys, stainless steels, high-strength steels and nickel-based alloys. Backed by a global network of service and support, our PCC Rollmet seamless pipe and tube product line sets the standard for large diameter, high-nickel alloy pipe and tube requirements for the power, petrochemical, nuclear, aerospace and defense industries.

IT Co-op needed to assist in supporting the IT department. Co-op must display a strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, as well as interact closely with other departments and employees.

  • The student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations

  • The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility in operations/manufacturing throughout his/her co-op experience

  • Will identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects

  • Will perform or review systems analysis, testing and documentation for existing processes

  • Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.

  • Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage Helpdesk calls and enter in helpdesk tracking system

  • Troubleshoot Network, PC, Laptop, Servers, Custom Applications, VPN, Sharepoint. Among others

  • Perform Hardware and Operating System Level Installations.

  • Configure and troubleshoot installed applications.

  • Diagnose and correct network connectivity problems.

  • Customize and deploy PCs.

  • Troubleshoot printer issues

  • Assign/change/remove user network and application permissions (work with System and Network Admins.) in accordance with IT procedures and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

  • Assist with SQL Reports

  • Other duties as assigned

Co-Op Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college and have successfully completed their freshman year prior to co-op

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or similar

  • Must be able to commit to a 6-month minimum assignment, 25-30 hours per week

Co-op position will be flexible to work around breaks and weekly school schedule
