Work with newcomputer software systems and new program implementation.
Assist in identifying and implementing solutions, performing cost-benefit analyzes and measuring results.
Analyze as a contributing member of the function in information technology capacity, vendor capabilities and business processes to suggest improvements, propose automation and streamline business intelligence and decision processes.
Interface with technical and in-house customer support staff to determine nature of routine and less complex problems and issues.
Assist with cost/benefit analysis when investigating purchase and development decisions
Partners with business functions to define, determine,analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements andpriorities for information systems and solutions; works with application andtechnical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenanceand enhancement of the information systems.
Provides comprehensive applicationfunctionality, configuration and support expertise for application softwaresolutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts andsoftware vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration,functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance andenhancement of the applications.
Responsible for developing software programsper technical specifications following programming standards and procedures,performing testing, executing program modifications, and responding to problemsby diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding.
Provides application or infrastructuretechnical expertise, analysis and specifications for IT systems to meetbusiness requirements in accordance with IT architecture policies andstandards; translate requirements into technical specifications, createdetailed solution design, coordinate construction, installation, configurationand testing of IT systems; and identifies, troubleshoots and resolves systemtechnical issues.
Responsible for defining information security policies andprocedures; ensures all information and data on computer systems is protectedand all networks and computer systems are adequately secure to preventunauthorized access; investigates potential security breaches and recommendscorrective actions to resolve and/or prevent reoccurrences; responsible forpromoting IT security awareness.
Applies developing business process and projectmanagement skills within an area of business or technical specialty. Managessmall portions of well-defined projects. Provides administrative and logisticssupport for a project team and project manager.

InformationTechnology, Computer and Information Science, Cyber Security, InformationSystems, Computer Science, Informatics, Management Information Systems &Business with strong background in Computers
CumminsCo-op program criteria:
Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Must be able to complete a minimum of 12 weeks and up to a maximum of 52 week commitment
Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
Willingness to learn from others on the job
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ratecommensurate with experience.
