Job Description:

Updating, streamlining, and making more efficient the data science repository of the Hypatia Catalog database to be more modern and align current coding practices and packages. The Hypatia Catalog will also be modified to provide one uniform data structure for the frontend website, the API, and the data science repository. Additional small features will also be added, as well as any major/minor bug fixes.

Minimum qualifications: PhD in experimental astrophysics, high-energy radiation detector development, or related field with ten years of related experience.
