SAIC is looking for a well-qualified Information Technology Assistant Program Manager to join an exciting program in Springfield, Virginia. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a willingness to learn while providing direct assistance to the Chief Information Officer in the development of Cyber Information Technology (IT) plans, strategies, and policies to ensure organizational compliance with statues, Executive Orders, and other National and Departmental directives and instructions.
Job responsibilities include ensuring compliance through management of metrics and development of required reports and briefings; representing the organization at working groups, ensuring organizational equities are considered as part of policy development; serving as the liaison between Government and the CIO contractor work force; monitoring contractor tasking, scheduling and deliverables; preparing and submitting monthly reports on task progress to include the formal monthly Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) briefings; ensuring all IT documentation and Configuration Management is in compliance with the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense requirements set by the CIO; and assisting the CIO with immediate coordination and execution of all other tasks assigned.
An active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI);
The ability to complete a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP);
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in an appropriate program area: Public Policy, Public Management, Management, Information Technology Management or similar area; or one of the following certifications:
The Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching
The CompTIA Security CE; and
Five or more years of experience in policy interpretation and development;
Five or more years of leadership and/or Project Management experience; and
Three or more years of experience in metrics development and analysis.
