Job Responsibilities

The person in this position will map data elements in the various systems to the state operational data store (ODS) for inclusion into the South Carolina Educator Informational Pipeline (SCEIP). Create a data dictionary of the Educator Data within the ODS. Manage relationships and projects with internal and external stakeholders, such as internal implementation teams, South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) program office staff, contracted technology partners, and school district technology leaders.

This position is located in the Chief Information Office.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may substitute for the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and at least four (4) years of experience as a business analyst or project manager related to technology and data systems.

Prior experience implementing and managing interoperable data systems and supporting stakeholder utilization of those systems.

Prior experience using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Demonstrated capacity to effectively deliver technical information to stakeholder groups of varying levels of subject matter understanding. Prior experience in the education field with knowledge of educator data.
