The Information Systems Support Specialist (ISSS) will be engaged with faculty, researchers, and staff in the implementation of new features, services and ongoing maintenance and support requests.

The ISSS will provide support for a core management application on campus, iLab. These responsibilities include user support, training, business analyses, system integration analyses, website development, and application updates and testing.

The ISSS will follow and act on the direction set forth by the Core Management Steering Committee (CMSC) charged with setting policies, procedures, priorities, standards, and overall iLab strategy. The ISSS will participate in these discussions and decisions and be responsible for providing information to the CMSC as part of the decision-making process.

The ISSS will report to the Assistant Director for Informatics for the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Additional Information:

Strong people and communication skills are required. The ideal candidate is curious, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

It is critical that the ISSS can work effectively in a matrixed environment, as well as maintain a high level of productivity when working independently. The selected candidate must be committed to providing quality customer service.
