Department of Revenue is recruiting for an Information Systems Specialist 7 - Senior Project Manager position. This is a Job Rotation/Limited duration opportunity. Expected end date will be June 30, 2025. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Information Technology Services Division in the IT Shared Services Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.

What You Will Be Doing
Below is a sampling of job duties. It is not meant to encompass all duties.
Manages complex IT projects from design and development to implementation and may be assigned several projects to manage at any given time.
Coordinates with other ITS project managers and coordinators to ensure that project resources are effectively and efficiently used.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to customer for acceptance.
Track and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Sets documentation policies and procedures involving software systems and data.
Participate in Information Strategic Planning, Resource Planning and Tactical Planning with the DOR ITS teams.
Strategize and plan with multiple agencies in workflow of multiple systems and interfaces.

This Is What You Need To Qualify
(a) Six (6) years of information systems experience in:
(agency will specify specific experience);
OR
(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND
four (4) years of information systems experience in:
(agency will specify specific experience);
OR
(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
AND
two (2) years of information systems experience in:
(agency will specify specific experience);
OR
(d) Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

This is an SEIU-represented position. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
