Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO 1) to join our team in the Hanover area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Candidate will have experience with NESSUS or Vulnerability analysis, XACTA, LATTEART, SEAR, and Security Plan Development (SSPs)
Review, prepare, and update C&A authorization packages
Notify customer when changes occur that might affect C&A authorization
Perform C&A self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plans
Identify C&A vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures
Represent the customer on various technical review and inspection teams
Conduct security surveys at subordinate facilities and gather pertinent security documentation for inclusion into system authorization packages
Coordinate, prepare, and track C&A inspections, reports, and responses
Maintain C&A security records and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements for network nodes operating in government facilities
Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems
Ensure C&A and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices
Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers
Assist IC Agency and Contractor organizations with the development of assessment and authorization (A&A) efforts
Review, track, and conduct C&A training
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5 years) in Security Certification and Accreditation
Must be familiar with current security policy/manuals Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous IC Customers,, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Possess a high degree of initiative requiring minimal supervision
Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility
Must meet certification requirements outlined in 8570.01-M for IAM Level 2
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI within 5 years to be considered and must obtain and maintain a polygraph. Candidates with fully adjudicated polygraphs will be given first preference.
