Title: Information Systems Security Manager

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the regional ISSM in the oversight, inspection, review, and accreditation of information systems

  • Ensure and validate hardware and software inventory process and procedures to oversee equipment and software entering and departing the data center(s)

  • Ensure and validate backup and data restoration processes and procedures for customer managed systems and networks

  • Perform media and laptop inspections and scans

  • Provide review and progress reports of all Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)

  • Provide weekly metrics and reports of customer service activities

  • Conduct daily review of government provisioned ticketing system for required response to incidents, events, actions, and requirements. Provide management of assigned actions in accordance with agency prescribed timelines

  • Manage Media Control & Personal Electronic Devices (PED) Program oversight

  • Provide IA exercise support and as well as support for international systems

  • Execute the system and site Risk Management Framework program in the region/AOR as outlined by CIO issuances

  • Provide day to day support for the NATO/CUSR Program

  • Conduct risk assessment for site within region and provide risk assessment reports annually

  • Perform day to day tasks associated with the agency's CONMON plan

  • Support the management of the Data Transfer Officer Program (DTO) user requirements

  • Support the establishment of end to end IA processes and procedures across CIO to streamline AO/DAO approvals and to establish IT security standards for region in accordance with current DOD and IC policy guidance

  • Support the development and execution of a checklist for required system security controls validation in accordance with the system/site CONMON program

  • Develop key metrics for continuous monitoring of IA Ops functions which support FISMA reporting and compliance

  • Provide support for management and maintenance of JCAP Security Documentation to include JCAP program baseline that defines the backside enclave(s) to each JWICS node in terms of connectivity and security robustness

  • Report JWICS wide security capabilities and defensive posture

  • Identify and implement CONMON plan to support the JCAP

  • Provide regional/associated sites and site-specific assessment support, coordinated with A&A and local ISSM staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline preferred, with a minimum of 8 years of related work experience, an additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted for a degree

  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT III certification

  • Familiarity and/or experience with Xacta, Splunk, ACAS, and Red Seal technologies desired

  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Qualifications * Thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software in general, including Windows 10 operating systems and Microsoft Office products. * Basic knowledge of administrating networks Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012 and 2016. * Manage and administer Nutanix server infrastructure. * Working knowledge of business software, installation and configuration packages. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Possess excellent customer service skills. * Working knowledge of Microsoft server tools (WDS, WSUS, Group Policy, Domain Administration). * Knowledge of enterprise backup and security tools and software. * Working knowledge and administration of Office 365 suite of software products. * Ability to manage and implement software and server infrastructure. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Ability to troubleshoot software. * Good written, communication and documentation skills. * Minimum 5 years work experience in maintaining computers, software, and systems. * Associates degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience preferred. Duties & Responsibilities * Support and administer evolving server based applications. * Develop specialized tools and applications. * Streamline procedures between departments and offices. * Manage data flows across the WAN. * Work with department managers on budgeting for software or hardware upgrades. * Keep hardware operating properly (Plotters, Printers, etc.). * Work with departments to standardize software loads, configurations, patches and updates. * Assist CAD Manager on standardizing CAD software loads, configurations, patches and updates. * Coordinate network procedures for data storage. * Research and implement new technology related to Engineering and CAD. * Coordinate with CAD software managers to maintain updates and ensure that all software works together. * Responsible for annual file archiving procedures. * Configure phone extensions and mailboxes. * Attend conferences as necessary. * Keep abreast of current technologies that can affect overall computer system and pursue continued education and training. * Assist the Information Systems Manager with general administrative and management duties as requested. * Establish and enforce company standards and procedures. * Assist with employee orientation related to the company's computer system and policies. * All other duties as assigned.
