Public Trust ClearanceDescription:
Resource who is experienced in managing and troubleshooting Client-Server software in a large enterprise.Requirements:
-Experience with Tanium, SCCM, Big fix or similar product.
-Experience with Firewall concepts and rules
-Experience with PowerShell and/or VBScript.
-Experience with WAN/LAN network configuration, protocols, and bandwidth restrictions
-Ability to troubleshoot workstations and server (Windows 7 and 10 severs 2008, 2012, 2016)
-Ability to independently installs, tests, and implements complex component-level changes within -the technology infrastructure.
-Ability to operates, maintains, and provides customer support for a wide variety of complex technology components.
-Ability to analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level.
-Works independently with vendors to resolve problems and, implements solutions.Expected Results:
-Documented processes / procedures, automation, and reporting to institutionalize end-point threat detection and response.
-Reduction in time to identify and resolve vulnerabilities within the Postal Computing Environment.EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Extensive experience (7+ years) in information security operations and/or related IT operational functionsEDUCATION:
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Security (Masters Degree preferred).CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
- CompTIA Security +
- CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have a permanent residence status (Green Card).
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.Place and Period of Performance
Hours of support:The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
Contract staff may be required to travel to support business efforts.
PoP: through 09/30/2018 with expected renewal.Candidates must have all required skills/experience to be considered:
