The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) Sector is seeking a Principal Information Systems Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse leaders in our Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Division.

ITS provides information technology solutions and services across Northrop Grumman, driving superior business performance through a robust, secure, cost-effective IT infrastructure which enables collaboration and strategic business partnering to foster innovation and technology.

This motivated individual will serve as a project manager within the ESPM organization and will provide leadership and overall direction to the assigned project team while providing oversight and leadership for all project requirements. The selected candidate will serve as the customer liaison for project leadership and will manage all scheduling, change

management, risk management, and cost management requirements for the assigned project. The selected candidate will also be responsible for any optimization, or other remediation work assigned by the program manager. The location for this position is in El Segundo, CA. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Program Standup activities to include, but not limited to; Stand up of Engineering application at DoD or SCI Levels, Coordinating DoD Secret network connectivity at remote contractor/partner sites, Standup of Simulation lab at DoD level

  • Effective coordination with members of the business partnership teams to optimize programmatic strategies

  • Effective use of ESPMs ascribed processes and procedures

  • Initiation of iBuy purchase orders for network and server hardware to support programmatic requirements

  • Assisting program leadership in assessing, documenting and tracking of all new program requirements

  • Preparation of project execution plans and identification of appropriate technical and business resources required

  • Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs; manage schedules and prepare status reports; and ensure project remediation and ongoing compliance goals are met

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 7 years relevant experience.

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (In Scope) with a Periodic Review completed in the last 5 years

  • Experience and demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, and Excel.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills

  • Experience leading multiple project assignments

  • Experience leading matrix staff

  • Problem solving with integrated team including but not exclusive to the program manager, functional managers, and customers

  • Experience with project management tools and presenting project data like status, risk and deliverables to key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related STEM field

  • Previous experience working IT Infrastructure projects

  • PMP Certification

  • Agile or SCRUM Certification

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-12T00:00 Job Description: Space and Airborne Systems is looking for an experienced Sr Manager, Supply Chain Management (SCM) for programs located in El Segundo, CA in support of the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Resilient Navigation (RNAV) portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team and managing a dynamic and complex supply chain. This individual will be on the staff of the Program Director to support all program execution and capture activity. They will lead the SCM personnel assigned to the program areas and are responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans for capture/proposal efforts, international pursuits, & program execution within the RNAV portfolio. The SCM Sr Manager will serve as the liaison between Program Management, IPT leaders and the Supply Chain organization. The SCM advises the S3 SCM Director as well as the Program Management Office leadership team on material strategies, plans, and supplier risk management activities. This leader will manage and lead front end of the business SCM activities including early supply chain management involvement and early supplier involvement. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the RNAV product lines and their Program Management offices. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Lead and manage junior SCMs regarding their development and productivity for the program areas which includes performing all reviews, staffing management, and personnel development. * Responsible to the Customer and Program Leadership to meet all material contract objectives (technical, cost, schedule) * Manage, develop and lead Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that align with Program strategies * Aid in the development of international sourcing strategies for exportable programs * Responsible for the delivery of procured material from the suppliers, through external testing, and shipment to its contractual destination * Conduct material contract closure activity alongside Contracts and Program Office * Establish material priorities across the programs * Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support and reviews and ensure compliance. Key activities typically include: Earned Value, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc. * Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, MRP Health, supplier performance, Small Business plan development and execution, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the MB/MW strategy, etc.) * Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) or supports the assigned CAM * Work collaboratively with all other functions in and outside of SCM to ensure that Program and capture strategies are executed to maximize all Space financial goals are met Required Skills: * Minimum of 12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Program Management, Engineering or other related Defense or Commercial work experience * Experience leading personnel and teams in matrixed organizations as a collaborative leader that shares program information and requirements to enable success * Experience with Supplier management; Subcontract management; Program Management or Engineering * Experience with Supply Chain and related systems, procurement, production control/material planning, receiving, cost estimating, and finance * Experience translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements and reviewing statements of work for completeness and conformance to program requirements * Experience performing supplier assessments to mitigate risk, capture opportunity, manage qualified product delivery, and ensure the right resources are deployed * Experience in Earned Value Management or related financial management experience * Experience developing & executing Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program objectives * Experience identifying and sourcing the correct suppliers to create competition * Experience developing & executing the make/buy/where process * Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal management * Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) * U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need the ability to access US only data systems.
