It's an exciting time in pet food! Post Holdings, Inc., recently announced an agreement to acquire Perfection Pet Foods, a leading manufacturer of private label and co-manufactured pet food and baked treats. The transaction is anticipated to close by the end of the calendar year in 2023. This role is part of the Perfection Pet Foods team of 250+ employees who will soon join the Post family to help grow the pet food business.
Location Description
Visalia, CA is home to 360,000 square feet of manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and office space. Approximately 250 employees work here, utilizing the latest technologies and systems, capable of producing extensive, diverse, and innovative pet food products. Visalia is in California's San Joaquin Valley and the gateway to Sequoia National Park, part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It also has a minor league baseball team, the Visalia California Oaks, and several colleges and universities.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a proven IT leader to help service and modernize the technology for our office and manufacturing services supporting Perfection Pet. As the Information Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of IT services while working closely with the business and Post Consumer Brands IT teams on technology modernization and integration services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall technology services our Visalia pet food plant, including hiring, development, and retention of employees and developing the technology roadmap in conjunction with Post Consumer Brands (PCB) IT leadership and technical teams
Plan and execute technology migration strategies to support the integration of plant operations into the PCB technology portfolio
Ensure the timely delivery of service for Incidents and Service Requests for all IT services, engaging with PCB IT teams
Implement standardized reporting and ITSM processes ensuring delivery of services meet SLAs and business requirements for the plant utilizing PCB process, services and standards
Establish continuity of service plans for critical services by cross-training and developing resource plans for all services within the scope of the team
Identify and implement improvements to the environment including monitoring, logging, toolsets and process changes necessary to reduce risk, improve availability, and manage technical debt in conjunction with PCB's IT services
Document integrations and architecture to improve the consistency of service and provide a baseline for audits, technology improvements, and lifecycle management as plant operations are integrated into PCB's overall processes
Perform, document, and recommend improvements as a result of audits, vulnerability tests, and penetration tests in all supported environments
Ensure the compliance of IT shared services with relevant regulations and standards, such as security and data protection standards as set forth by PCB IT Shared Services guidelines
Manage the day-to-day security operations, including threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits in conjunction with the PCB IT teams
Respond to security incidents and lead the incident response process, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis and take necessary action to prevent future incidents in conjunction with PCB IT Security
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT leaders across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a minimum of 6 years of experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including networking, cloud services, and data center management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing small to medium-sized teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues
Work Environment/Work Location
Fully onsite at the Visalia, CA manufacturing facility
The primary work environment for this position is typical of an office work environment, but within a manufacturing site. Therefore, it will require the periodic presence in a manufacturing environment in which appropriate personal protective equipment is prescribed and must be used at all times.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $100,000-140,000 annually
