Required Degree: Master's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Required degree must be completed by the start date.

Have experience managing technical products and working with cross-functional teams. Ability to teach the following subjects at the university level.

Legal and regulatory considerations

Testing and validation

Note: Students will be familiar with the following topics coming into your class: Scrum, Trello, Figma, data analysis, software development, security, and deployment.
The instructor will work with students in person and through digital messaging. The instructor will work with one or more student teaching assistants and coordinate with faculty and staff to effect world-class, experiential, and inspired learning. Although teaching experience is not required, it is preferred.
Applicants must reside in the state of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration. Must be willing to teach the course(s) in person, on campus.
Duties/Expectations:
This position is to teach IS 562, Product Management, during the day or evening.
Daytime classes are scheduled before 3 p.m., and evening courses are taught after 4 pm.
This course will be offered for 3 credit hours.
The candidate should be a current professional with experience doing product management for a software product over a number of years that can be used to enrich the course curriculum. The candidate should also be able to develop or otherwise supply the curriculum for the course.
It is expected that the instructor will commit to teach for the full term/semester.
Instructor wages will be dependent on instructor experience, course credit hours, and student enrollment.
It would be beneficial if the candidate had familiarity with BYU Information Systems and the BYU Mission and Aims.
