The Information Systems Engineer will apply his/her wide scope of skills to solve challenging engineering and architectural problems across a vast domain of datacenter technologies. This includes physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, databases, virtualization, storage, data management and voice systems. Projects will focus on engineering stable, highly available solutions to support Ventana Medical Systems enterprise applications and services. \
Responsibilities
Experience supporting data center technologies such as: physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, databases, virtualization, storage, data management and voice systems.
Participate in rotating "on call" schedule with other members of the team. Good written and verbal communication skills that can interface directly with technical resources from other groups.
Assist with implementation of each new generation of computing and network architecture. Track all activities in ticket and change management system. \
A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail even while working in a very fast-paced and energetic environment.
Ability to complete project tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily.
