We are looking for an Information Systems Architect to join our team in Quantico, VA.

Job Specific Skills:

IT Service delivery Consultant- Supporting USMC PM Applications Managed Service organization (MSO) Migration Planning Services (MPS)

  • Maintain version and configuration of project (application migration) related documents using SharePoint.

  • Maintain version and configuration of templates and process documents in support of MPS processes using SharePoint.

  • Provide analysis of USMC, DON, and DOD policy and governance and impacts on MSO and MSO process and initiatives.

  • Provide research and business analysis of Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) from AWS, Azure, mil

Cloud 2.0 (DISA) and support development of processes to support such offerings via an MSO service catalog.

  • Attend meetings, takes notes, provide guidance based on experience with USMC IT initiatives, cloud service offerings, and engineering best practices.

  • Review updates and determine impacts for key cloud related documentation such as DOD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA), DOD Connection Process Guide (CPG), DON/USMC Cloud Strategy, etc.


NGEN MITSC POC Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC)

  • Be a primary line of communication for resources supporting NGEN in the MCSC space for questions and concerns related to tasking, logistics, equipment, and accounts. Work with Resource Manager on all these tasks.

  • Provide support to customer related to resource issues, concerns, tasking, and onboarding.

  • Support and monitor and performance improvement plans in place.

  • Receive and maintain daily check in notices from resources for use when there is an issue with the location of resource or invoicing issue.

  • Maintain list and contact information for resources include personal and professional contact information.

  • Help troubleshoot account and connectivity issues for resource.

  • Support imaging and issuing of MCEN imaged laptops to resources and maintain list of devices in use by resources.

  • Support resource manager with prioritizing opening, evaluating candidates, interviewing candidates, and understand technical requirements of positions.

Support MCSC CAC, SAAR, VAR and related processes and communicate requirements, including training requirements, to resources.


Education and Experience Required:

Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience.

Minimum High School Diploma/GED.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Must have minimum of DoD secret security clearance.

ITIL v3 certification required.

Strong Excel skills.

Experience with BMC Remedy- USMC implementation of Remedy is a plus.

DoD 8570 IAT L II certification (ie Sec + CE) preferred.

MS Visio and Project preferred.

VIEW JOBS 10/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-09T00:00 What You'll Get to Do: Alarm Monitor Location: Quantico, VA (Start Date: Immediate) Government "SECRET" security clearance required As a Vancro Alarm Monitor for the US Marine Corps at Quantico, you'll need the meet the following criteria: Duties and Responsibilities: Plays a major role in helping to safeguard the installation and its vital equipment, sensitive areas and critical assets. This position requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to function independently and possess excellent organizational and attention to detail skills; and may include working with armed members of the law enforcement profession. The SSP Alarm Monitor: Monitors closed circuit television (CCTV) screens trained on sensitive areas/critical assets for a variety of security reasons. Analyzes images displayed of an authorized or unauthorized presence within the range of the CCTV camera while monitoring CCTV screens. Immediately supplies information to the dispatcher, of unauthorized activity/activation based on images displayed on CCTV. Monitors and/or operates electronic security systems involving numerous alarm panels/monitors, call- boxes, maintenance-related items, intrusion detection systems, video motion detection systems, and various security alarms. Sets and/or resets alarms that activate and ensures alarms are not malfunctioning. Immediately supplies information to the proper point of contact of the alarm activation in order to initiate the response process. Ensures all communication and alarm systems are in proper working order. When found defective, initiates immediate corrective action, ensuring that PMO/MCPD operations are not affected. Prepares and maintains a properly documented alarm control log of all alarm conditions to include setting, activation, deactivation and other pertinent alarm information. Prepares and maintains running logs of major events listing all pertinent information to include proper notification of higher authorities and/or outside agencies. Maintains manpower status report and keeps an accurate log for utilization. Ensures recall rosters on key personnel from the necessary units are accurate; and maintains a complete and accurate listing of all Fire/Smoke alarm boxes. Ensures proper records storage safeguards are in place and that records are appropriately archived/destroyed as required. Operates a variety of software application programs, including word processing and/or spreadsheet programs and prepares a variety of documents (such as correspondence, memoranda, reports, papers, charts, statistical tables, messages and other documents) requiring accuracy in spelling and operates a variety of office automation equipment, including copy machines, facsimile machines, networked computers, laser printers, shredders, scanners, and other electronic equipment. Assists PMO/MCPD administrative and operational personnel as required; and performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed in the installation SOP and the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Manual. May be required to perform physical security/crime prevention duties, as necessary (see separate position description for information regarding the specifics of this position), and may perform other job related duties and tasks as directed by the Site Lead. Maintains a neat and professional appearance and demeanor and conducts oneself in a manner that promotes a positive image of the Marine Corps, the PMO/MCPD and Vancro. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a high level of trust and confidence and as such the applicant must meet several pre-employment requirements. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must successfully pass initial drug screening and periodic follow-up Must possess or be able to obtain, if necessary, a "secret" security clearance Must successfully complete an thorough background investigation Must possess a valid driver's license Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) One year experience/knowledge working in a security/police environment is desired Must have 20/20 correctable vision in each eye May be required to successfully pass a psychological evaluation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, stay alert and focused, and coordinate and manage electronic security Ability to qualify and maintain annual proficiency with assigned weapon Ability to use computer software applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, databases and e-mail.
