    Supports assigned software applications by relying on established procedures and precedents for specific applications, and offers specific suggestions for improving efficiencies within existing applications. Supports specific software applications to ensure optimal utilization, functionality, and availability. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Provide internal/external customer support on a system-related issue, data reporting, and data analysis. Administer profiles, import data, accounts set up and maintenance, programs set up and maintenance, rate assignment set up and maintenance, and develop reports and queries. Analyze system queries to collect or import data as needed to complete reports or support business operations.

Position Summary The Information Systems Analyst, Career is responsible for the core end to end business operations in within Demand Response Operations, which includes: data extraction and analysis, supporting internal and external data requests, managing and triggering Demand Response programs, administration and maintenance of systems and applications, help desk support, forecasting and reporting, decision making, project and relationship management. Responsibilities The Information Systems Analyst, Career must have the ability to learn PG&E systems, adapt to changing environments, learn new concepts quickly, and effectively manage the day to day core operations with multiple assignments with demanding time constraints. They will also be involved in continuous process improvement, quality control, and other special projects and initiatives. DR Operations * Solid understanding of the Demand Response Operations teams, CAISO activities, policy, and the interactions between the groups. * Solid understanding of the Demand Response Programs team and business partner functions and tools and resources used to preform job duties. * Identify and implement system improvements, manage Demand Response operations communications, coordinate and deliver operations support for Demand Response programs. * Communicates with peers as a subject matter expert inside and outside of the department exchanging ideas and gathering information to create a team group decision. * Participates as an active team member on cross functional core teams to develop new products and/or improve processes. * Participate as an active member of our emergency team to support grid operations reliability. Systems and Helpdesk Support * Provide internal/external customer support on system-related issue, data reporting, and data analysis. * Manage Vendor support mailbox, system, and hotline for reported requests/issues in a timely manner. * Administer profiles, import data, accounts set up and maintenance, curtailment programs set up and maintenance, rate assignment set up and maintenance, and develop reports and queries. * Provide system training to new team members in supporting our retail and wholesale markets. Data Extraction/ Operations Analysis and metrics * Analyze system queries to collect or import data as needed to complete reports or support business operations. * Research best practices on data extraction and presentation; develop internal and external benchmarks in support of business decisions. * Provide monthly Demand Response operations metrics and performance management reporting. Administration/Maintenance of Demand Response Core Operations * Effectively communicate with vendors on any technical issues and ensure the identified issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. * Perform dispatch and notification functions (including tests) for the various Demand Response programs. * Process Demand Response program enrollment applications, bid acceptance, resource registrations, and event management. * Support system upgrades and IT enhancements as it impacts the Demand Response operations core team. Project Management * Lead Projects, determining scope, budget, timeframes, forming teams, assigning tasks, managing resources and issues. * Facilitate design/analyze sessions with users on document requirements, design specifications, and user acceptance testing. * Act as a subject matter expertise lead on Demand Response Operation processes, procedures, and tariff regulations. Customer Satisfaction * Work with other departments/vendors to ensure system processes are performing as expected. * Support customer questions and demand response enrollment inquires to resolution. * Serve as a subject matter expertise and partner of Demand Response Operations processes and controls. * Provide recommendations for change management that will lead to the success of the company goals. Qualifications Required * 3+ years of related experience or equivalent work experience * Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline or equivalent work experience Desired * MBA or Masters graduate degree * Intermediate level of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Experience in leading teams and/or projects across partner organizations * Customer centric focus * Project management experience and/or process improvement experience * Experience/Understanding of Demand Response programs * Strong problem solving and quantitative skills (Advanced levels of Excel, Access, and SAP) * Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification * Knowledge of CAISO electric markets Pacific Gas And Electric Company San Francisco CA
