THIS IS A DOIT DESIGNATED POSITION. Under administrative direction, leads the design and development of complex applications, developing system design and development documentation for use in the coding and testing of systems, applications and components.
Conducts and coordinates design and development of viable solutions for the resolution of complex functions or improving the efficiency of the systems. Performs detailed debugging and troubleshooting for identified problems and issues. Develops complex program documentation, test plans and conversion plans.
As a lead programmer, coordinates analysis and programming functions on the applicable platforms for IT assignments of high complexity. Serves as a team leader and provides technical guidance, system information and instruction to other IT team members, assisting with specific work issues requiring a broader knowledge of subject matter processing.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of college with coursework in computer science or directly-related fields, supplemented by three years of professional experience in a related Information Technology field.
Requires extensive knowledge of information technology concepts and principles, the theories and functions of computer systems, and the principles and techniques of Information Technology documentation. Requires sound troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze data logically.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Requires knowledge and working experience in relational databases, web services technology, Visual Studio, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#.NET, SQL Server, XML, CSS, and Java script.
Requires knowledge and working experience of TRACS and MACH, and the TRACS SDK Development Platform. Requires being in rotation for 24 hour call outs on system problems.
Work Hours & Location/Agency Contact: Anticipated Starting Salary: $6,031/mo; $72,372/yr
Current bargaining unit employees - contractual language applies
Full bargaining unit range: $72,372/yr - $110,340/yr
Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
