Job Description: Serve as network administrator for the Local Area Computer network (LAN) by assuring that the network and its applications are available to users and analyzing and resolving problems. Serves as the liaison between VDSS staff, County staff and local social services employees.

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of computer hardware and software and local area networking.

Office automation software; operation, and installation of computer equipment. Skill in operating, repairing and installing computer equipment. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair computer, printers, network equipment and work under minimal supervision. Employee must have a positive attitude and helpful demeanor, exhibit a professional working relationship with staff, clients, and the community.

Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification: High school diploma supplemented by technical training or college courses related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of computers and related equipment.
