Information Security Systems Engineer - Melbourne, FL - PT

Information Security Systems Engineer needed for an opportunity to work in Melbourne, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced Information Security Systems Engineering (ISSE) professionals to join the Network Security Engineering Team comprised supporting managed network infrastructures for federal government and other customers. This role is part of the business development team working on bringing new business and new technologies to the company.

• It will be a dynamic environment and you will be responsible for developing the security architecture for managed networks on new programs and pursuits.

• This position is ONSITE and located at L3Harris offices located in Melbourne, Florida.

• This position requires the ABILITY to obtain FAA Public Trust and Top Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 11 years of prior related experience.

• In-depth experience with networking technologies.

• Experience developing security architectures.

• Experience writing proposals and developing BOEs.

• Must be a self-starter with ability to manage projects on their own with little direction.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in application and compliance of customer tailored NIST and FISMA controls and policies.

• A&A planning and management experience (preferably USAF, other DoD may be fine) for large SOS solutions including experience with TEMPEST assessments.

• Experience with Cloud technologies.

• CCNA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, and other related certifications.

• Ability to obtain a DOD Top Secret Clearance

Employment Pre-requisites

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $60.00 to $69.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
