Position Summary:

Depot is actively looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our Information Security Practice. The Cyber Security Engineer will take a central role in the effective and efficient design and implementation of cyber security technologies, including next-gen artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions, threat identification and management technologies, and secure business enablement capabilities. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of both traditional and next-generation security technologies, methodologies, standards, and architectures; including machine learning and cloud-based solutions. The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for guiding the implementation and monitoring of enterprise-wide information security systems for loan

Depot. The Cyber Security Engineer strives to enforce security best practices, policies, standards and guidance to ensure the safeguard of loan

Depot's proprietary data, infrastructure and resources from internal and external threats. The Cyber Security Engineer is required to maintain a comprehensive understanding of services provided by loan

Depot and develop relationships throughout the organization to assist Information Security in accomplishing company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cyber security designs to meet specific operational needs and environmental factors

  • Develop cyber security designs to meet specific operational needs and environmental factors

  • Configure resources to detect vulnerabilities to operating systems, applications, databases and the network infrastructure components

  • Align with and contribute to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture and standards

  • Contribute to cloud security design and safeguards across Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) offerings

  • Provide role-engineering activities for various business needs

  • Develop processes and procedures for both technology and business functions

  • Act with sense of urgency when reacting to problems and gaps in tooling and procedures

  • Cross-train with other information security personnel and domains, in order to backfill and backup peers as needed

  • Share knowledge with other engineers around IAM technologies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) devices, firewalls, proxies, access controls, encryption, networking, scripting, auditing, vulnerability assessments, intrusion management and operations

  • Assist with research, data gathering, analysis, metrics reporting and communications

  • Maintain a professional level of both written and oral communications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields with 7+ years of professional experience

  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and produce quality work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment

  • Comprehensive understanding of security methodologies

  • Experience with cloud architecture, design, and solutions

  • Experience with IAM architecture, design, and solutions

  • Experience with server and endpoint configuration security hardening

  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk

  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions such as Microsoft Authenticator

  • Experience with enforcement of information security policies and procedures. Familiarity with information security standards such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, and associated security controls

  • Experience with security policies for firewall, email, web, and remote access systems

  • Experience with security systems design and maintenance, including architecture, access control, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, intrusion detection and prevention, and event logging

  • Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Unix operating systems

  • Experience in automation and scripting of applications and systems

  • Experience in anomaly detection (signature / behavioral)

  • Knowledge of network access, identity, and access management, such as public key infrastructure, OAuth, OpenID, SAML, and SPML

  • Knowledge of network security architecture and engineering

  • Knowledge of encryption algorithms and ciphers (PKI/SSL)

  • Knowledge of malicious code (worms, viruses, spyware, etc.)

  • Knowledge of multi-tier environments

  • Knowledge of forensic processes and e-discovery

  • Effective team management, time management, and organizational skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
