Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain knowledgebase on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards and ensure compliance throughout the organization.

  • Review and analyze customer requirements for data center hosting.

  • Conduct research and analysis, providing written recommendations for impacts and risks to managed Information Systems (ISs).

  • Provide cybersecurity onboarding support and recommendations during the hosting of new customer equipment/software.

  • Coordinate internally and externally with organizations such as DoD, USCYBERCOM, DA, ARCYBER, NETCOM, and others for compliance validation, incident response, and account management.

  • Provide ongoing support to new Data Center customers as hosting projects transition to operational maintenance.

  • Maintain an external off-premises customer Point of Contact (POC) list.

  • Attend assigned Data Center hosting customer meetings and document meeting notes.

  • Support the processing, execution, and tracking of cybersecurity-related tasks.

  • Track dates, deliverables, artifacts, and reports, ensuring timely coordination with task owners.

  • Ensure all deliverables and reports are coordinated, developed, and delivered according to established timelines.

  • Support the development and management of cybersecurity-related knowledge.

  • Assist leadership in making sound and timely decisions.

  • Manage account requests, in-processing, and out-processing for users.

  • Ensure compliance with training and security requirements for privileged accounts.

  • Assist in updating and managing the Automated Account Provisioning Tool.

  • Process account requests and track access management.

  • Serve as an alternate ISSO for NIPRnet, ensuring vetted users meet training requirements.

  • Maintain a list of ISSO/IMO/ISSM activities.

  • Provide weekly reports on in/out processing, service account password changes, and other relevant activities.

  • Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure all contract requirements are met.

  • Implement procedures for monitoring and documenting contract performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:

  • At least five (5) years of experience

  • Education:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree

  • Certifications:

  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II (One of the following):

  • CCNA Security

  • CySA+

  • GICSP

  • GSEC

  • Security+ CE

  • SSCP

  • CND

  • CASP+ CE

  • CCNP Security

  • CISA

  • CISSP (or Associate)

  • GCED

  • GCIH

  • CCSP

  • Relevant CE cert

  • Clearance:

  • Must possess a Secret Clearance
